Asghar Yamadi, MD, FAAP, FHM

Dr. Asghar Yamadi is a board-certified hospitalist with Duke Raleigh Hospital since 2001 and Accent Urgent Care since 2002. He also has worked at MedStop Urgent Care/Primary Care in Wake Forest and Kaiser Permanente in Raleigh.

He earned his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine, and undergraduate degrees in premedical sciences at Warnborough College, Oxford, UK, and zoology at Kuwait University in Kuwait. He was chief resident in pediatrics at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Society of Hospital Medicine.
